The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Tom is naughty, but he is also clever. He usually runs away from school and fights with other boys. One day, Aunt Polly asked him to whitewash the fence. Then Ben Rogers was coming down the street, and he was eating an apple. When Tom saw Ben, he said that whitewashing was fun to entice Ben to him whitewash. When Ben was whitewashing the fence, he ate Ben's apple. So I think he was very clever.
One night, Tom and Huck went to a graveyard. They saw three men went to House William's grave with a small cart. They are Muff Potter, Red Joe and Doctor Robinson. They put the dead body from the coffin onto their cart and covered it. After that, they started to fight, and the doctor was killed by Red Joe. Then Tom and Huck ran back to the village quickly and they were very frightened. They rushed inside an old barn. Then, Tom went home.
One day, Tom, Huck and Joe went to a little island which called Jackson's Island. On the first day, they were very happy, but afterwards, they started to have homesick. They all wanted to go home, but nobody say it. After the storm, their family and the villagers all believed they had died, so the villagers began their funeral service. When it began, they entered the church. After that, Aunt Polly and their relatives were very happy again.
After this teaching, he began to be a good boy. One day, Tom and Hack went to dig for treasure. At last, they found out Red Joe's Treasure and then they went to dig it up. After that, they became very rich and happy because he had saved Becky in the cave and found Red Joe.
Everybody loved him. And he felt his life was very happy.

Confucianism

I think there are three reasons why Confucianism has an enduring influence in China.
First of all, Chinese rulers had adopted his philosophy in ancient times not just in politics, but also in education and social. Second, it was a compulsory subject to be studied in school in ancient times. In fact, the Chinese started learning the Confucian classics since young and imperial examination is largely focus on the subject of the Confucian classics. Third, Confucianism proved to be effective in making a dynasty longer-lasting, instead of say legalism. For this reason, many dynasties follow what previous dynasties had done, and continue to adopt it as a philosophy.
It's why Confucianism has an enduring influence in China.

Money problems

I think there are some reasons to cause some people continually have money problems. First of all, many people like to use the credit cards to buy something. They think this way is very convenient and easy to pay it. Just bring a card, don’t pay extra money. Important thing is they haven't calculated how many debts they have after buying. They never think about if they can't afford it. It’s why some people have continually money problem. Credit card brings some advantages for people. But also bring a bad habit to all of people. It depends on you how to use it. If they themselves unexpectedly in need of money, they can use credit cards to pay for Goods and services or even to get cash advances from certain banks. Many people use credit cards this way so that they can afford to purchase items that will be paid for over a period of time. The bank company sends a monthly statement to the customer and requires that the total amount should be paid immediately.
But if you can't pay all, the bank company charges interest on the customers'unpaid balances. I think people have to learning how to control the credit card. They would not have money problems continually.

Afraid of the Dark

I saw a joke about from internet website.

A little boy was afraid of the dark. One night his mother told him to go out to the back porch and bring her the broom.

The little boy turned ot the mother and said “Mama, I don’t want to go out there. It’s dark.”

The mother smiled reassuringly at her son. “you don’t have to to be afraid of the dark.” She explained “Jesus is out there. He’ll look after you and protect you.”

The little boy went to the back door and cracked it a little. Peering out into the darkness, he called. “Jesus? If you’re out there. Woutl you pleease hand me the broom?”

Different Boys

A husband and wife had four boys. The older three had red hair, light skin, and were tall, while the youngest son had black hair, dark eyes, and was short.

The father eventually took ill and was lying on his deathbed when he turned to his wife and said. “Honey, before I die, be totally honest with me, is our youngest son my child?”

The wife replied, “I swear on everything that’s holy that he is your son.”

With that the husband passed away. The wife then muttered, “Thank God, he didn’t ask about the other three.”
